Carroll “Dennis” Knox, 70, of Iowa Park entered his eternal Heavenly home on Monday, January 20, 2020.

Dennis requested no funeral services will be held.

Dennis was born on March 8, 1949 to the late Buddy and Olga (Martin) Knox in Athens, Tennessee. He enjoyed growing up in the hills of Tennessee and doing all things mischievous little boys do. Early in his life, Dennis worked as a skilled mechanic on older model cars and could tell your trouble by just listening to the engine run. Once technology started emerging in the newer vehicles, he decided that was not for him and hung up his mechanic hat. He then began driving as a long-haul truck driver until he retired. He traveled across the United States and Canada and his fellow truckers knew him as his CB handle “Big Mo” When his daughter was little, he set up a CB base at home that way she could talk to her dad while he was on the road. One of her favorite memories was getting on the CB and saying “Big Mo this is Baby Mo, Do you read me”?

Dennis had a passion for collecting guns and knives and enjoyed sharing that with his son-in-law, Steve. Those two could have long conversations about guns and knives, sharpening tools, all the accessories. Although his debilitating health took a toll on his body, he always tried to retain a sense of humor. Dennis will be missed by many.

Along with his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia; and two brothers, James Knox and Chuck Knox.

He is survived by his daughter, Trenda StClaire and son-in-law, Steve Frazier; brother Johnny; and sister Debbie both of Tennessee; sister-in-law, Becky (Knox) King: sister-in-law, Angie Knox; and several nieces and nephews.
