A Celebration of Life Ceremony honoring Everett Ray Sanders will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel, in Jasper, Texas. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time, Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at the funeral home in Jasper. A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 11, 2020, at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park, Texas.

Everett Ray Sanders died at the age of 71 on September 1, 2020, at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital. A native of Oklahoma, a former resident of Iowa Park, Texas, and a longtime Jasper resident, Everett was a 1968 graduate of Paint Creek High School of Haskell, Texas. He worked previously with Key Energy as a District Manager. He was a jailer for the past several years with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department.

Everett is survived by his wife of over 32 years, Jessie Sanders, of Jasper, son, Aaron Sanders and wife Angee of Medford, New Jersey, and two grandchildren, Marcus Sanders and Ethan Sanders.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Fern Sanders.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Jasper County Cowboy Church, 2200 West Gibson, Jasper, Texas 75951.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
