Jackie Lynn Huff Young

     Jackie Lynn Huff Young, age 71, was carried into the arms of Jesus in the late hours of Sunday, April 17th in her family home. Jackie was born on August 5th, 1950 to her mother, Grace Pauline Smith Huff and her father, John Huff in the town of Grandfield, Oklahoma. She was a 1968 graduate of Iowa Park High School. Shortly after graduation she was married to Johnny Walter ”J.W. “ Young on August 2nd, 1968 in lowa Park where they built a life around their three children; Jay, Jason and Lacy. She was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her children. Anyone who knew her children knew that she was the star in their eyes, and that’s all that ever mattered to her.

      She worked for a number of years at Cryovac as a machine operator and was a long time member of Faith Baptist Church in Iowa Park. She was baptized May 7th, 1960. She excelled in everything she did; especially being a selfless wife, mother, and grandmother. Jackie was a lover of the small things like morning coffee with her sister Connie, OU football on Saturdays, and surprise visits from her family. These small things will now be the big things we cherish forever.

      She is survived by her sister Connie Sue Duggins and husband Jimmy Duggins of Iowa Park, son, Jay Young of Iowa Park, son, Jason Young of Wichita Falls, daughter Lacy Wright of Iowa Park. Grandchildren Cassidy, Champ, Evan, Jett, McCager, and Jaxon. Great grandchildren Grayson and Huxlee.

      She is preceded in death by her husband Johnny Walter “JW Young, mother Grace Pauline Huff, father John David Huff, sister Sharron Kay Huff, and brother Johnny Allan Huff.

      Pallbearers: Russell Duggins, Tyler Duggins, Jimmy Duggins, Champ Young, McCager Wright, and Evan Lankford.
