Lucy M. Bridges

Lucy M. Bridges, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022 in Electra, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas. Interment will be held at a later date at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma. 

Lucy was born February 13, 1938 in Bristol, Connecticut to Antonio and Adele (Ferrero) Mossa. She met the love of her life, Jake Bridges, while he was serving in the US Navy on the U.S.S. Nautilus in 1959 and they were married on October 22, 1960 in Bristol, Connecticut. They then moved to Iowa Park and started their life together. Lucy was a devote Catholic and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Iowa Park. 

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Peter Mossa, Anthony Mossa, Jr.; and one sister, Sadie Bobinski. 

Surviving relatives include her daughter, Tammie Bridges; grandsons, Bradlee and Brady Brinkman; granddaughter, Caili Payton and her husband, Colton; great granddaughter, Kyra Payton; great grandsons, Kody and Kaiden; nephews, Troy Thompson, Kevin Thompson, and Michael Bobinski; and many more loving family members.
