Nettie Jorene Young

Our loving “Nanna” Nettie Jorene Young went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 12, 2021.

Graveside services will be held at 10 am Monday August 16, 2021 at Holliday Cemetery in Holliday, TX. Family and Friends are invited to meet at 9:00am at Dutton Funeral Home and follow in procession to graveside. A visitation will be held at Dutton funeral home in Iowa Park tx on Sunday august 15 2021 from 6-8pm.

Nanna was born on October 2nd, 1940 in Pala Pinto County, TX to Benjamin and Alpha (Thompkins) Calhoun. She married Donald Young in Oklahoma on May 7th, 1958. She retired from Bethania Hospital from the data entry department. When she wasn’t working, she loved to bake and loved swimming in the pool.

Survivors include Two Children, Don Young and Wife Linda of Saginaw, TX, Mary Naylor of Iowa Park; Grandchildren, Misty Hollabaugh and Chris of Johnstown CO, Ashley Naylor of Fort Worth, TX, Eric Young of Oklahoma City, Ok; Great Grandchildren, Taylor Brown, Austin Brown, Paityn Hollabaugh, Connor Hollabaugh, All of Johnstown, CO; Sister, Mary Calhoun of Iowa Park, TX.

Preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Donald Young; Son, Kenneth Young; and Grandson Kyle Young.
