      Paula Jean Wallace Cargal , 57, passed from this world into heaven on Saturday, May 1, 2021 after a courageous battle with Cancer.

     Paula was born in Wichita Falls on Dec. 24, 1963 to Janett Roberts Osborne and Shelby Wallace.  Paula graduated from Rider High School.  She was married to Jerry Clay Cargal until his death in 2005.  Paula loved riding horses, dogs and talking about her sweet “Jesus.”  Paula was a very kind and lovable person.  She always wore a smile and never met a stranger.

     She worked for years at Lowe’s Grocery and Kathy’s Deli in Iowa Park.  She always greeted you with a huge warm welcome.  Her laughter was contagious and there was never a dull moment when Paula was around.  Paula suffered the last couple of years with cancer but that never hindered her love for The Lord.  She went to her treatments and doctor visits smiling and touching the lives of those that came into contact with her.  She now is sitting at the feet of Jesus and is in no more pain.

     Paula is survived by her father, Shelby Wallace and stepmother Mickie Wallace, step sisters Alana Ross and Lisa Christmas, stepbrother Robert Ramatowski and many cherished friends.  She is preceded in death by her mother Jeannette Roberts Osborn, husband Jerry Clay Cargal and finance’ Dale Nichols.

      Paula will be honored with a Memorial service on Friday, May the 7th at 4 p.m. at Lakeview Church in Iowa Park.  A private burial will be held at a later date at Highland Cemetery.
