Randel Scott Phillips was born January 7, 1958 in Wichita Falls, Texas andpassed away February 4, 2022 at Hospice of Wichita Falls.  He was 64 years ofage. A memorial celebration will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 12 atKamay Baptist Church.Surviving Randel is his loving mother, Johnette Phillips of Iowa Park, Texas,and a brother, Ricky Phillips and wife Alix, of Gainesville, Texas.  Hisniece, Tiffany Ann Owensby and husband Aaron, and his great niece and nephew,Madilyn and Noah Owensby, of Iowa Park, also survive him.Randel was blessed with a big family that, in turn, meant many aunts, uncles,cousins and friends that became family, which will miss him dearly.  He waspreceded in death by his father, Joseph Austin Phillips and a brother, JohnStephen Phillips.Randel graduated from Iowa Park High School in 1976.  He attended Texas TechUniversity.Randel, aka Uncle Randel, Nandel, Rawble, and Ran, was the best Godfather,uncle, cousin and friend there ever was.  He loved fiercely and you knew it.He was the fun uncle and cousin that was always ready for a good time butmost importantly, he wanted to make sure that everyone around him was happyand well taken care of.He loved sports, all sports!  He would travel to the ends of the earth towatch his cousins play…whatever sport was in season.  The light ofRandel’s life were Madi and Noah.  In his eyes, they were perfect and allwas right in in his world with Madi and Noah in it.The family request donations be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls and wouldlike to thank the amazing nurses that delivered endless support and love toRandel.
