Rita Winona Adamson Walker, 72, passed away Monday.

The family will receive visitors at Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta this evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Services will at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Friday, with internment to follow at the Dean Cemetery in Dean with Brandon and Emie Dunn officiating.

Rita was born on May 14, 1949, in Palo Alto, CA. Her parents are Sue and John Carroll of Arizona. She and Arnold Walker married on October 1, 1966. She worked for her husband and his brother’s business, Walker Road Boring, for many years as office manager, overseer of order, team chef, and interior designer. She also worked for Red River Electronics for many years. She volunteered at Home Hospice of Wichita Falls. She attended the Cowboy Church in Dean for several years. She enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years; two children, Lori Lucas of Dean and Bobby Walker of Oklahoma; brother and sisters, David Walker of Arizona, Lily White of Oklahoma, Vicki Walker of Iowa Park, Rhonda Puder of San Antonio, Sharon Walker of Wichita Falls; 11 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her biological parents, Gloria Groves and Jerry Adamson, and her adopted father, Felix Walker.

The family suggest memorials can be made to Healing Hands Hospice.
