Ronald D. Braziel, 56, passed away Saturday, March 5.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls with Pastor David Akridge of Compassion Church, officiating.

A son of the late Jerry and LaVon (Huff) Braziel, Ronald was born on March 29, 1965, in Dallas. After graduating from Hirschi High School, he served our country in the United States Navy until May of 1994. He worked several years at the Texas State Hospital, for Halliburton in Duncan, Ok., and was a Correctional Officer at TDCJ James V. Allred Prison. He enjoyed playing all sports, was a Golden Gloves Boxer and participated in the Junior Olympics for Boxing.

Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, David Braziel, and Raymond Braziel; and his sister, Tammy Braziel Hosch.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Nancy “LeAna” Braziel of Wichita Falls; his two sons, Timothy Sanders of Wichita Falls, and Joshua Sanders of Iowa Park; his brother, Harold Braziel of Iowa Park; and five grandchildren.
