Suzi would like to let you know that her work here is finished. She received an invitation, the kind of invitation you can’t decline. And it came with a bonus............. a reunion with family and friends who received the invitation before her and whom she missed dearly.

On May 30th, 2020 this invite took her to a beautiful place where she will be dancing, cooking (No, still no cooking), socializing and exploring the universe to her heart’s content. A place where music, laughter, love, health and peace are guaranteed, while in the arms of our loving God.

This Texas girl seemed immortal with her dynamic energy, fierce independence and strong will for life, even at the old age of 82. Suzi had a heart as big as her home state. Her love and compassion for family and friends was evident by the efforts she made to stay connected. For someone who once thought sending text messages was ridiculous, Well....let’s just hope texting is a “thing” beyond the pearly gates. She will miss all of you and will certainly expect you to miss her a little, too. But don’t be sad, she asks of those who loved her to raise a glass in celebration of her life on earth and to also know, she is not dead - she is ALIVE in heaven!

Suzi put her foot down with an adamant, “NO” to having a funeral service. So, once again, she is having it her way in death just as in life. There will be a private family burial of her ashes at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park, Texas to be determined at a future date.

For her love of animals, her wishes for condolences and in lieu of flowers are for donations to be made at an animal shelter of your choice in her memory.
