Even though the area has received several rain showers lately, Lake Arrowhead and Lake Kickapoo that supply water for Wichita Falls and its wholesale water customers (including Iowa Park) have dropped to a combined capacity of 50 percent. As a result, Wichita Falls has implemented their Stage Two drought contingency water use restrictions, which requires that all wholesale customers reduce their monthly consumption by a minimum of 15 percent.
