The Texas Renaissance Festival 2026 will open this Saturday, October 10, in Todd Mission and will run for eight weekends, in addition to the Friday after Thanksgiving, until November 29.
The 52nd edition will operate from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day of operation. The gates stop admitting visitors at 7 p.m.

Oktoberfest opens the season on October 10 and 11
Each weekend of the Texas Renaissance Festival has a different theme. The 2026 season will begin with Oktoberfest on October 10 and 11.
The calendar will continue with:
- 1001 Dreams: October 17 and 18.
- Pirate Adventure: October 24 and 25.
- All Hallows Eve: October 31 and November 1.
- Heroes & Villains: November 7 and 8.
- Barbarian Invasion: November 14 and 15.
- Highland Fling: November 21 and 22.
- Celtic Christmas: November 27 to 29.
Tickets for 2026 are priced by date
General admission tickets are date-specific, and the price may change depending on the chosen day.
The festival uses final prices that include applicable surcharges. It also offers different seasonal passes and a $5 add-on protection option that allows you to change the ticket date and pay any price difference.
Children aged 5 to 12 enter free on Sundays and do not need a ticket. Children under 12 may also camp for free.

General parking is free
The Texas Renaissance Festival offers free general parking for cars, buses, and motorcycles.
There are also two closer paid parking options near the entrance:
- Preferred Parking: $25.
- Premium Parking: $40.
Premium Parking is a new option for the 2026 season and replaces the previously used valet service. It is the closest parking to the entrance.
Preferred Parking occupies the available rows below. Both options stop selling at 4 p.m. or when capacity is reached.
Parking accessible to people with the appropriate credentials is also free.
The festival will feature shows, jousting, and fireworks
The schedule includes music, comedy, acrobatics, dance, magic, juggling, and medieval combat and jousting performances spread across different stages around the venue.
Among the artists and shows scheduled for 2026 are Hanlon-Lees Action Theatre, Tartanic, Birds of Prey, Clan Tynker, Dublin Harpers, Coal Black Rose, and Royal Fireworks.
The day begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 8 p.m. with the real fireworks.
Food, shops and activities have separate costs at the Texas Renaissance Festival
In addition to the performances included with admission, the festival gathers shops, restaurants, taverns, games and attractions that may carry additional costs.
Visitors can find clothing, jewelry, leather, pottery, crafts and other products related to the festival’s theme.
The venue also offers vegetarian, vegan, halal, and gluten-free options at select establishments.
One sealed bottle of water per person is allowed
The festival generally does not permit outside food or beverages. Exceptions are made for babies, young children, and individuals with dietary restrictions.
Each visitor may bring in one unopened bottled water.
Pets are not allowed inside the festival or campgrounds. Service animals recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act may enter.
The Texas Renaissance Festival camping operates during all eight weekends
The Texas Renaissance Festival also features a camping area for those planning to stay over the weekend.
Reservations are organized by each themed weekend. For Oktoberfest, the camping area opens from Thursday, October 8 and remains available until Monday the 12th.
Access to the camping area does not substitute for the festival admission ticket.
