The sex offender Jeffrey Epstein case continues to unfold and many have become involved in the matter. Among them, former President Bill Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who will testify in a congressional investigation, a development that would avert a possible vote to hold them in contempt.
The House Oversight Committee, Republican-majority, accused Clinton (1993-2001) and the former secretary of state (2009-2013), both Democrats, of disobeying subpoenas to appear in person and testify about their ties to Epstein, who was found dead in prison in 2019.
Their spokesman said they will do so to set a precedent and that they hope it will apply to everyone.
