Grupo Frontera Brings the ‘Sad but Totally Badass’ Tour to Houston

Grupo Frontera announces the dates of its tour “Triste pero bien c*brón” in the United States, a tour that will take the Texas band to some of the country’s most important stages and will mark the group’s most ambitious tour in the United States to date.

Presented by Live Nation, the tour represents a new step in the band’s trajectory following the release of their third studio album, «Lo que me falta por llorar».

The project reaffirmed the group’s identity by blending pure emotion with the norteño-cumbia sound that has defined them. With dates already announced in Latin America and Europe, the tour will continue with stops in the United States, including key markets such as Texas, California, Arizona, Illinois, and Florida, where the band has built a solid and loyal fan base.

The tour’s name is inspired by the song «Triste pero bien c*brón», its collaboration with Myke Towers included on their latest album, «Lo que me falta por llorar».

More than just a phrase, the concept reflects an attitude present throughout their music: recognizing heartbreak without dramatizing it, accepting what hurts, and moving forward with resolve. That same energy is what the band will bring to the stage during this new tour.

The announcement comes at a crucial moment for the group. Grupo Frontera recently earned its first two Grammy nominations in the category “Best Mexican Music Album” for their EPs «Y lo que viene» and «Mala mía».

With 27 dates confirmed across the United States and an international schedule that will continue to expand in the coming months, Grupo Frontera continues to solidify its momentum as one of the most in-demand acts in contemporary regional Mexican music today.

Tickets for the tour “Triste pero bien c*brón” will be available in multiple pre-sale phases. Citi is the official card of the tour, and its holders will have access to an exclusive pre-sale from Tuesday, March 10 at 10:00 a.m. local time, until Thursday, March 12 at 11:59 p.m. local time, through the Citi Entertainment program.
