Due to the coronavirus outbreak, and changing requirements for dining establishments,  Friendly Door Senior Citizens Center will be closing their dining room effective Monday, March 23, until further notice.

We will continue to deliver Meals on Wheels at this time to all our regular Meals on Wheels clients.

Any and all clients can call in for a carry-out meal if they would like, but MUST call and reserve a carry-out meal the day before if they are wanting one. They are asked to drive up and someone from the center will carry the meal out to their car.

All normal activities (Craft class, Bingo, Exercise, ect) will be cancelled at this time until further notice.

"Our main concern is the health and safety of our clients and our fellow neighbors here in our community. We hope that all of this passes soon so we are able to reopen our dining room to our community and resume serving meals," said Dana Polly, director. "We know how much our seniors look forward to the fellowship with their friends and we are truly sorry that we are unable to have them come here."

"We encourage all of our Senior clients to stay home and stay safe. If there is anything the Friendly Door can do to help our clients during this time they can call the center at 592-9311, and we will do all we can to help them."
