Texas challenged by nursing, trucker shortage
Sometimes when you try to add a little laughter into an otherwise dull day, not everyone thinks it’s funny.
I’ll be hitting the road this week to cover the Hawks and Lady Hawks in the state playoffs.
As I write this, I am celebrating my 157 ½ birthday a whole century early.
The state playoffs are on top of us in both softball and baseball, and both the Hawks and Lady Hawks are thick in the hunt.
On Friday, 15 April, I went to the local Subway for sandwiches for my daughter and myself. There were two men in line ahead of me. The one closest struck up a conversation. We had a good chat. They got their order and sat at a table to eat.
