     Alma W. Sims, 97, of Iowa Park went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, November 9, 2021.

     Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 15, 2021 at Crestview Memorial Park with Pastor Randal Searcy officiating.  A reception will follow from 3 until 5 p.m. at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.

     Alma was born on September 14, 1924 in Fort Sumner, New Mexico to the late Kit and Eula May (Ingram) Coats.  She attended school at Electra, growing up at Rock Point, on Mitchell Lease along with four brothers and three sisters.  Alma always said “God has blessed her life”.  She was a nanny to all that knew and loved her, and always had a large and supportive family.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 49 years Jack; Kit Sims, Floyd Lee Sims, Terry Sims, and Freddie Kennedy.

     Left to cherish her memory are daughters Jackie Kennedy, and Faye Gross and husband Rick; son James Sims and spouse Carol; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; sister Glennis Blum; and best friend Leverne Owens.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Alma’s name to Hospice of Wichita Falls, or the Friendly Door of Iowa Park.
