Bud’De E.H. Schultz

Bud’De E.H. Schultz, 54, of Madison, WI., the brother of Ray Schultz, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022 at UW Hospital.

Memorial services were held Tuesday with Pastor Peter Schlicht officiating. Burial of the urn will take place in North Dakota at a date later to be determined.

Bud’De was born to Marcelino Acopio Valencia and Carmelita Hermosa, as Edgar Hermosa, in the Philippines on July 7, 1967. In 1970, He and his family moved to the United States and his mother married Ray Schultz, who later adopted Bud’De. Ray’s service in the military took the family to Minot, ND. where Bud’De graduated from Minot High School in 1984. After high school he joined the Navy. Upon leaving the Navy, he returned to Minot. On Aug. 14, 1992, he and Sherilyn were married. He attended Power Plant Tech School which took him and his family to Madison, WI. He worked at MG&E for 26 years.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, video games and music.

He is preceded in death by his father, Marcelino, and his mother, Carmelita.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sherilyn; his children, Nathaniel, Larissa, Christopher, Amber, Budde Isaac, all in Madison; sisters, Marcelita, Theresa and Debbie; brother, Ray; adoptive father, Ray and his wife, Linda; stepfather, Sam Lincoln; and five grandchildren,
