Mary V. Jackson

Mary V. Jackson, 66, passed away Sunday, Jan. 3.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 16, in the Chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls with Gregory Robbins officiating. Interment followed at Davidson Cemetery in Davidson, OK.

Mary was born on Nov. 17, 1954 in Frederick, OK., to Lee Roy and Bernice (Underwood) Jackson. She moved with her family from Lubbock to Iowa Park, when she was in elementary school. She graduated from Iowa Park High School in 1973. After graduation, she worked at the Sears Business office for several years, before taking a job with State National Bank/Pilgram Bank. She started as a teller and was promoted to a bank officer, working with customers in a variety of banking services. She retired after 35 years of service.

She was a member of Crestview Church of Christ in Wichita Falls, until she moved in 2018, after her retirement. She then attended Johnson Drive Church of Christ in McGregor.

She was a football fan and her favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and the Oklahoma Sooners.
