     Ricky Jason Vanek, 37, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 in Iowa Park, Texas.  Graveside services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Highland Cemetery with Rev. Clint Sissom officiating.  Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.

     Jason was born March 27, 1984 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Ricky Joe and Elizabeth (Fulfer) Vanek.  He was a 2002 graduate of Iowa Park High School.  Jason owned RJ Vanek Tank Truck Service since 2014.  He loved working, and enjoyed spending his free time gardening, deer hunting, but most of all, loved his family.  Jason was known to be a bit stubborn but had a heart for people and was always willing to help those in need.

     Surviving relatives include his wife, Ashley Vanek; his parents, Rick and Elizabeth Vanek; three children, Jaxon, Jenson, and Jozie Vanek, all of Iowa Park, Texas; two sisters, Mindy Loyd and husband, Eldron and Jennifer Moss and husband, Clay all of Holliday, Texas; girlfriend, Victoria Saldivar of Kamay, Texas; grandmother, LaJuana Vanek Scott of New Caney, Texas; three nephews, Joby Loyd, Corben Loyd, and Brayden Moss; and seven nieces, Alize’ Martinez, Kirsten Loyd, Kayslyne Rainwater, Kynlie Rainwater, Aria Moss, Mabel Rainwater, and Claire Rainwater.  He was preceded in death by one nephew, Wyatt Dale.
