Houston Man Arrested for Possessing Thousands of AI-Generated Child Pornography Images

Alexander Bigelow, a resident of the Houston area, was arrested after detectives found what they describe as thousands of images of AI-generated child pornography at his home, according to Monday’s announcement by Alan Rosen, the Harris County Precinct 1 Constable.

“Our detectives patrol cyberspace just as they patrol the streets,” said Constable Rosen. “Let the predators beware: they will be caught.”

Bigelow, 29, has been charged as part of an ongoing investigation conducted by the Precinct 1 Internet Crimes Against Children Unit.

He faces three counts of second-degree felony possession of computer-generated child pornography involving children under ten. Each of these charges carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.

The defendant also faces a felony charge (punishable by imprisonment in a state prison) for invasive visual recording in a bathroom or dressing area, due to the use of a hidden camera in a charger to secretly record a bedroom that did not belong to him, according to court records. The charge carries a penalty of up to two years in jail.

Detectives who searched the defendant’s residence in Humble reported finding a computer and a hard drive; each device contained thousands of AI-generated images of child pornography, according to court records.

Possession of obscene material that appears to depict a minor—independently of whether such depiction was created using artificial intelligence—constitutes a crime under Texas law enacted in 2025.

Constable Rosen asks that anyone with information about the defendant contact the Precinct 1 Internet Crimes Against Children Unit at 713-222-4929.

The Precinct 1 Internet Crimes Against Children Unit is part of the Houston metropolitan area’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
