The celebration of 25 years of Alex Ubago’s career arrives in Houston this February. The Spanish artist begins a concert tour to commemorate this milestone; it is the “Gira ¿Qué pides tú?”. The title honors his first album that was released in 2001.
With this tour, the singer not only has the opportunity to celebrate but also to reflect on the path traveled and the successes achieved in a quarter of a century.
“We always say that we have to look only forward, but we must also look back. The memories are beautiful and the lessons left by the experiences. We always move with a fast-paced life and tend not to stop for long, and in these kinds of milestone celebrations one stops, it helps to look back and see what we have done”.
In addition to the tour that will take him to several cities in the United States, including Houston, and countries in Latin America and Europe, Ubago is preparing a documentary about his career.
“We are working on a documentary and for this we had to open the trunk of memories. There are the experiences, tours, recordings and all that material that makes one value everything one has lived and, of course, what remains to be lived, because from all this we must take the impetus”, he shared.
