The Houston Rodeo 2026 is official and promises to become one of the year’s most talked-about events in the city. With a diverse lineup that blends country, pop, regional Mexican, and rock, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo confirmed the artists who will perform from March 2 to March 22, 2026 at the NRG Stadium, one of Houston’s most important venues.

The 2026 edition stands out for including artists with strong ties to the city, highly anticipated returns, and several debuts that have generated conversation among local fans.

Houston Rodeo 2026: a Local-Flavor Lineup

One of the aspects that has drawn the most attention to the Houston Rodeo 2026 is the presence of artists with roots or direct connections to Houston. Among them is Lizzo, who will perform on March 6 during Black Heritage Day. The singer grew up in Houston and has mentioned on several occasions the importance the city had in her artistic development.

Also highlighted is Forrest Frank, a Christian pop artist who will hold a concert on March 8. Frank grew up in Houston and his participation has been received with enthusiasm, especially by younger and family audiences.

Another anticipated return is Parker McCollum, born in Conroe, Texas, who will perform on March 20. It will be his fourth appearance at the rodeo and he remains one of the Texan artists most loved by the local audience.

Nostalgia, debuts and big names at the Houston Rodeo 2026

The Houston Rodeo 2026 also includes acts that directly appeal to nostalgia. One of the most talked-about is Creed, the rock band that defined a whole generation and will perform on March 11. Its inclusion has sparked conversations on social media and it is shaping up to be one of the concerts with the highest demand.

Among the big names on the bill are also Kelly Clarkson (March 14), the first winner of American Idol, Tim McGraw (March 21), Chris Stapleton (March 12) and Lainey Wilson (March 19).

Additionally, nine artists debut for the first time at the rodeo, including Koe Wetzel, Shaboozey and Red Clay Strays, expanding the musical variety that characterizes the event.
