The singer Mine Morales has become one of the most promising emerging artists within the new generation of regional Mexican music. Her work in the music industry is gradually becoming known, and with it comes the public’s acceptance that has tuned into the platforms where her songs are streamed.
A few days ago, the Mexican artist premiered “Sin ti estoy mejor”, a new single with which she presents a fresh proposal that she wrote hand in hand with Juan Treviño, one of the most recognized figures in the Texas area of the industry.
“La verdad fue algo tarde porque no fue hasta mis treinta años que me animé a sacar mi primer sencillo y de ahí, ya no paré. Ya vamos por el noveno sencillo, que es ‘Sin ti estoy mejor’ y que hice con Juan Treviño”, agrega.
This musical partnership came about thanks to Mine’s insistence, who wanted to explore in the Tex-Mex music genre.
“I told Juan that I wanted to write a song with him, not that it would be one of his songs. I told him I wanted to compose with him and experience the full journey, not just sing one of his tracks,” she said.
From her work with Treviño, who has several awards to his name, including two Latin Grammys, Mine says that “a very nice connection was made”.
“I recorded here and I could indeed live the full experience. I have had this song since last year; I had the dream of coming to premiere the song here.”
Precisely, on the release day, the performer, a native of Monterrey, Nuevo León, was in our city to promote the track.
“I decided to come to give the promotion the song deserves, and I want to give Juan his credits, since he is a great artist and producer. I wasn’t sure if he would want to work with me, but I decided to take a chance and ask him.”
Now, with this track already on platforms, Mine aims to continue showing her authentic proposal that fuses the strength and tradition of regional Mexican with the sensitivity and freshness of the contemporary pop ballad.
“In my songs you will find influences from various genres, because today artists bet on everything. Regional Mexican is thriving, that is why I wanted to bet on it, and also Tex-Mex.”
Her talent and connection with the audience have led her to surpass 200,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, gather a community of over 90,000 followers on social media and reach more than 870,000 plays on digital platforms.
“As an artist you propose, develop, transform and explore. You make a song without knowing if it will catch on, but what if it does? Then we are offering the audience a new music proposal. It’s about daring.”
With this, Mine continues bringing new generations closer to regional music and to Tex-Mex with “Sin ti estoy mejor”.
“I’m on the path to see what life presents me; it isn’t easy, but that makes you not give up and that you challenge yourself every day”, she concluded.
