Carlos Rivera presents “Sin Despedida”, his new song alongside Alejandro Fernández, a highly anticipated collaboration that unites two of the most important voices in Spanish-language music.
Written entirely by Carlos, “Sin Despedida” is a mariachi-infused ballad that stands out for the depth of its lyrics and the interpretive strength of both artists.
“This duet is very special because, beyond singing with a star who represents our Mexican music, I am singing with a great friend,” commented Carlos.
The release is accompanied by the official video, filmed in Guadalajara, directed by Nuno Gomes and starring Gabriel Agüero, who brings to life a deeply moving story that perfectly accompanies the song’s narrative, and Priscila Valverde, who portrays different characters from the Mexican imaginary throughout the project’s audiovisual for the album.
From “La Muerte” in Calavera, “La viuda negra” in Alguien, and now “La generala” in “Sin Despedida”.
“Sin Despedida” is the first single from Carlos Rivera’s upcoming album, titled “Vida México”, which represents the second part of his EP “Vida…”, released last October. As part of this pivotal moment in his career, Carlos Rivera will perform for the first time next May 9 at the Plaza de Toros “La México”, one of the country’s most emblematic venues, with his Vida México! Tour, reaffirming his place as one of the most important singer-songwriters of his generation.
