FBI Seeks Suspect in Bank Robbery

The FBI Violent Crimes Task Force seeks the public’s help to identify and locate a man nicknamed the “Subzero Suspect” (Bajo Cero) who robbed a Frost Bank in southeast Houston last week.

The robbery occurred on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at the Frost Bank located at 9990 Almeda-Genoa Road.

During the robbery, the suspect entered the bank, displayed a black pistol, and ordered the employees to lie on the floor at gunpoint. He then took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the bank on foot. No one was injured during the robbery.

The robber is described as a Black man between 20 and 40 years old, approximately 1.70 meters tall with a slender build. He wore a lime-green balaclava, a gray jacket, black pants, black shoes, and white gloves during the robbery.

Crime Stoppers of Houston, a nonprofit organization, offers up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of this suspect.
