A power outage forced the closure of the 1400 Lubbock St. location between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. on August 21. For that reason, hearings scheduled during that period could not take place.
The deadline does not automatically include all people with matters before Houston Municipal Courts. It only applies to appearances and trials scheduled during the hours affected by the closure at that location.
The rescheduling must be completed in person before 5 p.m.
