Memorial Day in Houston: Commemoration and Celebration

The commemoration of Memorial Day, which many of us also identify as Memorial Day

That is why recognizing these heroes and their families is a priority; it is a good opportunity for the entire community to acknowledge that, thanks to their sacrifice, we live in a free country.

Also on this date, in addition to the celebration, families seek places or activities to share a moment of togetherness and unity.

This holiday marks the unofficial start of summer; Houston’s weather tends to lean toward outdoor activities and it is perfect for spending a day at the pool or engaging in activities in parks or on beaches.

Another option is to visit iconic places; the idea is to take advantage of the day off.

Some of the options have a cost, others are free; you just have to check the schedules and thus be able to enjoy this commemorative day.
