200 Laptops Delivered to the Community

This season, the organization SERJobs, which helps our community find employment and receive training in various areas, held its winter graduation ceremony and partnered with Compudopt to distribute 200 free laptops to its members and eligible community participants.

Founded in 1965, this organization believes that access to technology is essential for job searching, training in digital skills, certifications, financial counseling, and much more, and this initiative helps remove a major barrier for people striving to build a better future.

They say that this initiative reflects their shared commitment to expanding access, opportunities, and economic mobility across the Houston metropolitan area. Through partnerships like this, we can provide more families with the tools they need to learn, connect, and thrive in a digital world.

In addition, they stated that they will continue to carry out these kinds of activities to provide the community with these basic tools.
