The Premiere of “Sisters, a Shared Love” on ViX Brings an Intimate Melodrama About Two Sisters Faced by a Tragedy, with a Stellar Cast and a Realistic Approach.
The bond between two sisters is broken by a tragic situation that changes their lives forever and ultimately pits them against each other. This is the ViX series “Sisters, a Shared Love” by ViX, premiering on January 16.
Among the leads are Danna García, Juan Martín Jauregui, Adriana Louvier, and Osvaldo Benavides; within the story they will be very close, but as it unfolds, we will be in for surprises.
The actor, who brings “Camilo” to life, assures that viewers will surely see a connection with the characters they portray. This is due to the way the series’ plot is approached.
“The characters are very human, people will be able to identify with and empathize with the characters; it is a combination of things that will make this project go very well.”
For her part, actress Danna García, who plays “Rebeca,” says that they have sought to portray the reality currently lived, with the daily challenges brought into the melodrama.
“The cinematographic part approaches the series; it is impeccable. We have aimed to achieve a close and realistic tone because the theme itself demands it. We must find that middle ground. It is a new contribution, a blend of elements that make it a different project. The viewer will notice it.”
Jauregui notes his commitment to the audience who will enjoy this series; the changes in this production are clear to him.
“It is a huge commitment; our task as actors is to try to give the greatest truth to the characters so that it reaches people in the most faithful way. We have taken this commitment very seriously and professionally.”
García has an extensive career in television; she has starred in successful telenovelas that have been seen in several countries. She sees in this series the opportunity to return to the small screen and apply everything she has learned in the years she has worked in front of cameras.
“Many of the cast have done telenovelas for many years, and now we return in this format and bring our experience.”
“One is always at the service of the work and the projects and telling stories, and we like to go back and forth to different media, and this was a proposal that appealed to both of us to return to broadcast television,” Louvier added.
As part of the cast are prominent actors such as Jesús Ochoa, Luz María Jeréz, Diana Bracho, Margarita Magaña, to name a few.
“We are a team working in front of and behind the cameras. In the cast there are wonderful people to work with. There are only good vibes, no ‘starlets,’ which makes working like this enjoyable,” Osvaldo shares.
Sharing with all these actors makes for Danna García a unique experience, and she is grateful to have this acting opportunity.
“Having been given the opportunity to play ‘Rebeca’ is a huge gift for me as an actress and a person. The chance to share scenes with people so talented and with such great careers.”
“Sisters, a Shared Love” premieres on January 16 on ViX in the United States and will eventually premiere in Mexico.
