The rodeo season has arrived, and with it the excitement of Houston residents, who dust off their boots and hats to enjoy this grand event. Cowboy fever isn’t limited to the facilities of the NRG complex; it takes over the entire city.
That’s why Post Houston invites the city’s residents to dive fully into the rodeo season in Bayou City with a special kickoff celebration for Rooftop Rodeo at Post Skylawn.
The iconic Post Houston rooftop will transform every night during the rodeo season into Rooftop Rodeo, a wonderland of lights inspired by cowboys and cowgirls and photo opportunities through Sunday, March 29.

During this display of lights, attendees can enjoy themed cocktails and Texan beers while taking in the skyline views during this nocturnal salute to Houston’s rodeo roots.
The mechanical bull will take center stage, challenging guests to prove their cowboy courage every Friday through Sunday starting at 5 p.m.
“As Houstonians, we know how fun and exciting the rodeo season is in our city,” said Meredith Powell I, general manager of POST Houston.
“Rooftop Rodeo is the perfect place for guests to showcase their rodeo style, spend time with friends and family, and enjoy our incredible Rodeo illuminations, all with the city skyline as a backdrop,” she added.
Vinyl Ranch will also have a pop-up shop with special rodeo-ready merchandise for partygoers. Weekday admission, from Monday to Thursday, is $6, while weekend admission, from Friday to Sunday, is $9. As always, children aged 6 and under can enter for free.
