The issue of fuel prices continues to be one that everyone is paying close attention to; regardless of whether we fill the gas tank of our cars once or multiple times, we remain attentive to prices.
With the matter of the United States and Israel’s war against Iran, the cost has been rising rapidly and alarmingly. Nationally, the price of gasoline averages more than $4 per gallon.
Although it is not a historic record, it represents a sharp increase compared with just over a month ago.
In Harris County, as of April 7, the estimated price was $3.83 per gallon, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA) report.
Additionally, it is expected that gasoline prices will continue to rise, driven by supply uncertainty stemming from conflicts in the Strait of Hormuz and by the move to the summer fuel blend.
Analysts suggest that prices could rise even further if disruptions in oil shipments persist, affecting both diesel and overall costs for consumers.
